Deforestation of trees are hygienic-sanitary and sanitation measures in order to improve the stands, which aims to implement preventive actions in order to avoid a potential negative impact on people and surrounding vegetation. It provides for a technical measure of sectioning the shaft by means of machinery for the purpose of final removal. Primarily, the upper branches of the canopy are removed, then the axis is sectioned, by the same stepped procedure and the fragments are lowered by anchoring.

Deforestation of trees may begin if the trees meet the following conditions:
• has an advanced degree of rot,
• is in a biological decline,
• have a low resistance causing an eminent danger of collapse,
• those infested with diseases and pests,
• those that are totally or proportionally dry in a proportion of 70-100%.

Depending on the complexity of the tree surroundings, the following options are taken into account:
• Stair interventions – will be applied for small and medium-sized trees, most often in limited access areas, given that the intervention is done more in the canopy, such works are characteristic of grooming works.
• Truck interventions – will be applied in the case of trees of medium and high heights, which provide promptness, accuracy and efficiency in performing tasks.
• Interventions through utilitarian climbing – method applied in cases of locations with extremely limited access of advanced complexity.
